Metabolic Breath Analysis
A resting metabolic rate (RMR) test with PNOĒ breath-analysis technology measures how many calories you actually burn and whether you burn mostly fat or carbohydrates at rest.
Most weight loss plans guess. Ours starts by measuring. With metabolic breath analysis, VO2 max testing, lab work and monthly provider visits, we build a nutrition, activity and wellness plan around your body's own data, and add prescription medication only when your provider determines it is right for you.
Every phase ends with a retest, so you and your provider can see exactly what's changing: not just on the scale, but in your metabolism and fitness.
Medical history, physical, baseline labs, and your first metabolic breath analysis and VO2 max test.
Your personalized nutrition and activity plan goes live in your app. Medication may be started if your provider recommends it.
Strength training and heart-rate-zone cardio progress. Plans are updated after your Month 3 retest.
Habits that last, a long-term plan for any medication, and a 12-month comparison report.
A resting metabolic rate (RMR) test with PNOĒ breath-analysis technology measures how many calories you actually burn and whether you burn mostly fat or carbohydrates at rest.
A short, progressive exercise test measures your cardiorespiratory fitness, your personal heart-rate training zones and your fat-burning zone.
Baseline and follow-up labs, as determined by your provider, to look at blood sugar, cholesterol, thyroid, liver and kidney function and more.
Every month you meet with your provider to review your progress, adjust your plan and address any questions or side effects.
Strength training to protect muscle, plus cardio in heart-rate zones set from your own VO2 max results, delivered through your program app.
Calorie and protein targets based on your measured metabolism, plus guidance on sleep, stress and recovery, with check-ins between visits.
Online calculators estimate your metabolism from age, height and weight. Two people with the same numbers can burn very different amounts of energy. In under 10 minutes, breath analysis measures it directly, and VO2 max testing shows how well your heart, lungs and muscles use oxygen.
For some patients, prescription weight management medication, such as GLP-1 and dual GIP/GLP-1 therapies, can be a helpful part of a complete plan. Medication is never automatic in our program.
Not everyone is a candidate for weight loss medication. Eligibility depends on factors such as body mass index, weight-related health conditions, personal and family medical history, pregnancy or plans for pregnancy, and other medications. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are considered only when clinically appropriate and fully disclosed to the patient.
An RMR test measures how many calories your body burns at rest by analyzing the oxygen you breathe in and the carbon dioxide you breathe out. It takes about 10 minutes while you sit quietly, and it replaces guesswork with a measured calorie target.
VO2 max is the maximum amount of oxygen your body can use during exercise and is a widely used measure of cardiorespiratory fitness. During a short, progressive exercise test wearing a breath-analysis mask, we measure your fitness level, your heart-rate training zones and how efficiently you burn fat.
No. Many patients follow the program with nutrition, activity and wellness changes alone. Prescription medication is considered only after a medical evaluation, and only when your provider determines it is clinically appropriate and safe for you.
You have a provider visit every month, plus check-ins between visits through our app or text, and metabolic retesting about every three months.
When medication is appropriate, your provider will discuss FDA-approved options first. Any medication decision, including type, dose and duration, is made by your provider based on your health history, labs and goals. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are considered only when clinically appropriate and fully disclosed.
Please contact our office to discuss pricing and payment options. Lab work and medications may be billed separately from program fees.
